WEAR GREEN FOR FARMERS DAY THANK YOU
Student Contribution
On Friday 8th August everyone dressed up in green clothes for all the FARMERS. We did this because they are struggling because they have not had much rain for the past three years. FARMERS bring us fruits, vegetables, meat, milk and more. At 12:40pm all the kids went off the oval and there were letters that spelled out FARMERS so all the year levels went in a ladder and Jeff took a photo on his drone. Some of the parents donated some money for the FARMERS.
The FARMERS are struggling a lot because they have had barely any rain. Some of the FARMERS don’t have any hay to feed their animals which is really bad because the animals could die. Victoria produces around 65% of Australia's milk supply which is crazy. FARMERS support a vast network of supply chains-transport, manufacturing, retail and export. This is why we wore green on Friday.
